Tip #3: Trim the wick

We recommend that you trim the wick before first and every use after. Generally, wicks should be 1/8 of an inch...what does that look like? Stack two pennies together, then look at them side ways. That is how tall wicks should be. Long wicks can produce large flames which can be a fire hazard. Please be responsible and trim the wicks.

Tip #2: Soy wax is better

Soy wax candles come from soybeans, unlike paraffin wax. In addition to being organic, soy wax have a longer burn rate because of their chemical structure. There is also no soot when you burn a soy candle, usually, a white smoke comes out when you put the candle out and that's it. We only use 100% soy wax while some companies use a combination of soy and paraffin. We have tested different types of soy waxes out there and found the best one that we, ourselves, will want to light every day.

Tip #1: Lighting a Candle for the First Time

To make the most of your soy wax candles, be sure to let the candle burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first light it. Soy wax is a "memory" wax, by letting it burn all the way through the edge, it will burn cleanly from that point on. Nice clean burn every time.
