Tealight Holder - Christmas Star Lantern

The Christmas Star is a holiday tradition in some countries and are hung during Christmas time because it is believed to guide the three Kings find their way in the dark during their journey.

The Christmas Star or Parol (pronounced "puh-roll"), is a traditional Christmas/Holiday decoration in the Philippines, which means lantern. Parols are usually made using bamboo, very thin paper and were illuminated using oil, candles, and carbide lamps. Today, Parols can be made using plastic, metal, and "capiz" shells (pearly white shells from a Philippine province) and can be illuminated with batteries or electric lighting.

They come in different sizes and shapes but this particular tea light holder has several colors, the edges are outlined in brass, and comes with a chain to hang it. Place a tealight inside this, multi-colored translucent Christmas star tealight holder and watch it glow elegantly through the glass panels.
